God loves us. The God of the past, the present and the future. God hasn’t changed. The God in the old testament, didn’t love us any less. It hurts me to know that there are people out there who either think that God doesn’t love them or that the God of the old testament is any different than the one that is moving within us here and now.

If you take a serious look at the Bible, His love is as plain as anything we could ever feel or experience. God created us in His image, gave us free will, pursued us when we disobeyed us, sent His Son, allowed His Son to die for our sins, He heals us, forgives us, has compassion on us, seeks us out in our dark places, desires for us to be united with Him, desires to know us, wants what is best for us, prepares a place for us in heaven, delivers us from evil, walks with us in the dark valleys, and shows us immeasurable love because He is love. The entire history of humanity is us running from a God whose heart is for us and who loves us and has only the best plans for us.

God’s Heart is for His people
