A little about me…
Who am I?
Hi, my name is Lauren. I am a graduating senior of the class of 2022 and I am headed to the mission field. I know that seems like a bold way to start my life, (and a bit bold for an about page) but its my story. It’s the truth and there is no hiding it.
For those of you who don’t know me I am a small town girl from North Idaho. I love being outside, hanging out with friends and playing music. But more than that I love God. I love reading the Bible, spending time in worship and I get SO excited whenever someone asks me a Bible question (it literally would make my day). I love to watch God do amazing things in the world around me and in the people around me.

And a little about my journey…
My missions testimony
I have grown in my relationship with God so much over the last year I can’t even begin to name the ways. Towards the beginning of the year I felt God call me into the mission field. He didn’t tell me where or when or how, just that I needed to do it. So I thought “this is awesome! This all makes sense now! There was a purpose I was made exactly this way. I’ll just go to a Christian college, get a degree in theology and then go into the mission field; that way I’ll have something to fall back on.” Basically all of that was spot on… except for the last sentence. What I didn’t know then was that that thought would lead me on a journey all the way from my little town in Idaho to a college 20 min outside of Denver, Colorado. This was the perfect college. It was small, in a suburban area, had amazing staff and all the kids were so invested in growing closer to Christ. This was the perfect college. I mean you couldn’t ask for anything better, could you?
But as I walked around campus, the Lord put it on my heart that time was of the essence. I didn’t have time to go to college. Jesus was coming back and I didn’t have time. Now, I am in no way saying that I know when Jesus is coming back or that I think that no one should go to college. My sister is attending that college this fall and I know God is going to do amazing things through that. It is just that for each person, God has a path He wants us to follow, and I want to be obedient to that. For me that veered around 4 years of school and led me back to a place I knew very well.
Starting when I was little and all growing up I went on mission trips to Mexico (7 in total) and I loved each and every one. 4 of those trips were to a home for kids called Rancho De Sus Niños. I absolutely love it there. As it turns out they have what is called The school of missions for exactly what I want to do. They give people my age an opportunity to do the kinds of mission work that the short term mission groups do for a few days, year round. They pour into their students in their bilingual classroom settings and help to get them involved and invested in the mission base where the school is located. This is basically a childhood dream come true. I love serving, I love seeing God move and I love worship (which they do 5 or 6 days a week).
I feel like this is where God is leading me this next year and I can’t wait to see what he has in store for me. If you want to see what I am up to currently you can check out my blog page. If you want to support me through prayer or otherwise you can check out the support page. Thank you so much for reading and supporting me as I move into what God has called me to.
